Tournament Rules
Official rules and guidelines for all competitive events on Teyapo.

1. General Rules
These rules apply to all tournaments and competitive events hosted on the Teyapo Gaming Platform. By participating in any tournament, you agree to abide by these rules in addition to our Terms of Service and Code of Conduct.
- All participants must have a verified Teyapo account in good standing.
- Players must be at least 16 years of age to participate in tournaments.
- Each player may only register with one account per tournament.
- Tournament organizers reserve the right to modify rules with reasonable notice to participants.
- All communication during tournaments must be respectful and sportsmanlike.
2. Eligibility
To participate in Teyapo tournaments, players must meet the following requirements:
- Have a registered and verified Teyapo account.
- Meet the minimum age requirement (16 years or older, unless otherwise specified by the tournament).
- Not be currently suspended or banned from the platform.
- Own or have legitimate access to the game being played.
- Reside in a region where participation is permitted by local laws.
3. Registration & Check-in
Proper registration and timely check-in are essential for smooth tournament operations.
- Players must register before the tournament registration deadline.
- Check-in opens 30 minutes before the scheduled start time unless otherwise stated.
- Players who fail to check in will be removed from the bracket and may forfeit any entry fees.
- Team captains are responsible for ensuring all team members are checked in.
- Late registration may be allowed at the discretion of the tournament organizer.
4. Match Rules
The following rules govern individual matches within a tournament:
- Players must be ready to play within 5 minutes of being called for their match.
- A player who is not ready within 10 minutes will forfeit the match.
- Game-specific settings and rules will be outlined in each tournament's description.
- Both players must confirm match results. Disputed results will be reviewed by tournament admins.
- Screenshots or video evidence may be required to verify match outcomes.
- If a match is interrupted due to technical issues, admins will determine whether to replay or award the match.
5. Fair Play & Anti-Cheat
Teyapo is committed to maintaining a fair competitive environment. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Use of cheats, hacks, exploits, or any unauthorized third-party software.
- Account sharing or allowing another person to play on your behalf.
- Match fixing, win trading, or any form of collusion.
- Intentionally disconnecting to avoid a loss.
- Exploiting known game bugs that provide an unfair advantage.
- Smurfing (using an alternate account to compete at a lower skill level).
Violations may result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and suspension from future events.
6. Prizes & Payouts
Prize distribution is handled according to the following guidelines:
- Prize pools and distribution are announced before tournament registration opens.
- Payouts are processed within 7 business days of tournament completion.
- Players must have a valid payout method linked to their account to receive prizes.
- Disqualified players forfeit all prize winnings.
- In team tournaments, the team captain is responsible for distributing prizes among team members unless otherwise arranged.
- Teyapo reserves the right to withhold prizes pending investigation of rule violations.
7. Disputes & Appeals
We strive to resolve disputes fairly and promptly:
- Match disputes must be raised within 15 minutes of the match ending.
- Players must provide evidence (screenshots, recordings) when filing a dispute.
- Tournament admins will review disputes and make a ruling within 24 hours.
- Admin decisions are final unless a formal appeal is submitted.
- Appeals must be submitted within 48 hours of the original ruling via the Help Center.
- Frivolous or repeated unfounded disputes may result in warnings or penalties.
8. Penalties & Enforcement
Violations of these rules may result in the following actions, depending on severity:
